As is the case each Friday morning that the monthly jobs data is released, the Obama White House and the Republicans are trying to spin the numbers -- 85,000 jobs lost in December, with the unemployment rate remaining unchanged at 10.0% -- to their advantage.

Is this like climate change trending? you throw out any data that doesn't fit with the desired result? What happened in November (the latest revision of November, that is)? why didn't the list end with that month?
Actually, I don't know about November but I'm fairly confident that the omission was for a reason and not an accident.

It is amazing that there can be job losses month after, month. no new jobs, and yet the unemployment rate remains unchanged.
