Yeah, he met with his national security team, but it wasn't until yesterday, not until he returned to Washington from his vacation, and 11 full days after the event occurred. Frankly Mr. Barr, that's unacceptable in my book.

At least we know the cold fish can get aroused when he made the Presidential motorcade speed through city traffic to get his golf buddy’s kid to a doctor after a scrape!

When will Barr (and others) start to demand that Obama take responsibility for anything, anything at all ?

Back in 2004 over the Christmas holiday, I was having dinner with a lib friend who complained (per her faithful reading of the WaPO) that W had sent only (something like) $75M for the tsunami victims. This was on Day One. I pointed out that it was an initial amount, no idea was yet clear of what the damages would be, AND, furthermore, the first thing W did was to send a US Navy ship with water purification capabilities, which was a helluva lot more important to survivors than any cash at that time. She shut up.

Perhaps if Obama's anti-terrorist pointman wasn't too busy to cancel his Christmas ski trip to do his job, Obama might (but probably not) had been quicker to react. After all, we would not want Obama giving up his Hawaiian golf game.
