Schwarzenegger now opposes Obama's healthcare
Los Angeles Times ^ | January 6, 2010

Now Congress is about to pile billions more onto California with the new health care bill. Now, as you know, while I enthusiastically supported health care reform, it is not reform to push more costs onto states that are already struggling while other states are getting sweetheart deals.

Health care reform, which started as noble and needed legislation, has become a trough of bribes, deals and loopholes. Yet you've heard of the bridge to nowhere. Well, this is health care to nowhere.

California's congressional delegation should either vote against this bill that is a disaster for California or get in there and fight for the same sweetheart deal that Senator Nelson of Nebraska got for the Cornhusker State. (Applause) Because that senator got for the Cornhusker State the corn and we got the husk.

It finally dawned on Arlen Schwarzenegger that Californians would be stuck with the majority of the bill (for inevitable long lines and fatal shortages) that underwrite Marxist Obama's Deathcare plan.

Sadly, our Governator is not sehr schmart.

As a bodybuilding teen, I idolized this man, YUK!

I hate politicians, all of them. Every last one of them is lying, cheating, pond scum (My apologies to pond scum).

Reagan wasn’t a politician, by the way, he was a man with character, a great sense-of-life, and a man not unlike the founders.

The fact that we have remained relatively free as long as we have is a tribute to the benevolent genius of the founders and their vision.

It can only be the founders work because Americans sure don’t fight for their freedom as they should.

These a-hole commies wouldn’t even think about doing what they doing if they thought Americans would really fight them.

Americans can not only fight them, but kick their *sses royally. Why aren’t they?

Without Reagan we would be in the soup. He saved us for 2 decades but that has ended. We will see the carnage that liberalism/ NWO puts on America.

Oh Arnold...it’s a shame you let the Democrat’s break you so early wih that referendem. Imagine if he’d actually governed sensibly and held them to account. California might not be in the extreme mess it is now.

You cannot expect anyone will listen to you now. Not when you were so easily dupped.

Welcome to Socialism, Arnold.

At the end of the day, SOMEONE gets stuck with the bill.

Not so thrilling when it’s YOU.

Because they dont know how.

For months, people like myself have been asking, what are we going to do?

Tea parties, emails, calls and letters did nothing. Neither did the town halls. They went ahead and did what they wanted.

VOTE..some people said..we can get rid of them when we vote. Sure, but by then..healthcare will be passed and who do you think will repeal it? Nobody..we will already be stuck with it.

The revolution..some people say..its time for a revolution? Do they mean the thing people do with guns? They call those riots now..so men will be in jail and women and children will have chitty healthcare, anyway.

So you seem to think americans dont want to fight. They do..they just dont know how. Do you?

“Do you?”

Yes, but I’ve had this conversation before.

Anything I say you will have some reason to say it isn’t “practical”, or even sane.

Let’s just the say the “Tea Party” gatherings should have been about twenty times the size they were, and not run by wimps proudly proclaiming their bipartisanship.

They should have been directed straight at the hard-left, calling them out, dragging their actions, overt and covert, into the light.

Instead they played coward with a blatant politically correct slant.

We should not behave like cowards and well-conditioned drones when it comes to labeling these people what they are, they are communists, pure and simple.

I belong to a “activist” group in California. We attended several Town Halls and scared the crap out more than a few influential people. We were not violent (but more than able to defend ourselves [SEIU didn’t show up, unfortunately]), but we were intimidating and certainly didn’t hold back our anger. The “nice-guys” on the right couldn’t be prouder of themselves for being oh-so reserved and polite. F’em! If they want to threaten our freedom they should feel the heat of the beginnings of a revolt from the get-go, not AFTER they have done their damage.

I’m sure you and yours would call me an extremist, and the left would pull and stretch to call me a terrorist. I’m an American who will not sit idle while corrupt power mongers rip and tear at the fundamentals of American freedom and prosperity.

If more were like me, you would be doing something much different than worrying about what your government will do to you next. It’s likely you wouldn’t be thinking about the government at all right now—just as it should be in the United States of America.

They wouldn’t have the huevos to even think about playing heavy hands with us. They’d get knocked-down, and marginalized in short order.

That’s my take on it. And that’s all the “pragmatism” and “practically” that this proud American can muster.

We should be doing more.

>> “or get in there and fight for the same sweetheart deal that”

So as long as you get the “sweetheart deal”, it’s OK to screw over the rest of the Country?

U Got It. The Socialists are out of OPM. Now what? They have to figure a way to tap the Federal Reserve Money Printers. But The Federal Socialists are broke too. Soon it will be Armageddon with all the bloated Federal, State, County and City Taxtakers fighting over the scraps...Disgusting and Pathetic.

Look. They are out there buddy. I went to the Castor Catastrophe in Tampa. The SEIU and Acorn Baffoons ran like Rabbits when confronted directly by TAXPAYERS. Castor ducked out the back door with her SEIU bodyguards and hasn’t been heard from since. They are stepping on the wrong toes. NEVER put down a taxpayer willing to take it to the street....After all..We paid for them. Just look at the panic setting in to the Media Socialist types.

I get your point..and you are probably right...because that sea of people, they showed in photographs, made absolutely no impression on anyone but us. Wow..look at all the people. Heh, they didnt even make the nightly news. I will bet you if they showed up with pitchforks and torches..they would have gotten some media coverage.

Lately tho, it looks like the democrats up there are self destructing. I sometimes get the feeling, we are not getting the real story.

Before we are democrats or republicans or anything else we are people. Most of us have a working brain. Most of us know right from wrong..and a large majority want to do the right thing. I get the feeling that some dems in Washington KNOW that what is going on is wrong. I think a lot are pressured by others..and I think some are getting tired of it.

As far as the tea parties..I think if this healthcare passes..the people themselves will step it up a notch. I think that will send many, over the edge.
