When I sent this news to my grown son, he wrote the following back to me:
“From the opening day of the [Constitutional] Convention it was known that the brain-storming discussions would require frequent shifting of positions and changing of minds. For this reason the Convention debates were held in secret to avoid public embarrassment as the delegates made concessions, reversed earlier positions, and moved gradually toward some kind of agreement.” (From The Five Thousand Year Leap)
While it is not a “lie”, it does withold certain “truths”. The Constitutional Convention was open to opposing parties. This 0bamanation is NOT. It is explicit in its exclusion of the GOP. Also, the Founders did not run around saying the discussions were going to be wide open to the public and then turn around and to the exact opposite.
Satan and demoncrats speak in half-truths
