Second, I never met a Hindu I didn't like (they are always polite and hospitable) and I'm an atheist.

Androcles, Muslims do not belong in India. They are brutal invaders, and practically every Muslim in India (and Pakistand and Bangladesh, which until very recently, WERE India) are descendents of Hindus, with some Buddhists and Jains, who were forced into Islam. If only the modern Muslims knew history, and if only Islam allowed those born into the prison of Islam were allowed to leave.

But they aren’t. Islam literally means “surrender”. They have mistaken the voluntary surrender of love for God with what a bad guy with a gun to your head says, as in “Surrender or get shot”!

Many if not most of the old mosques in India, at any rate, are built out of ancient Hindu temples. The Muslims defaced the temples, added some minarets and so forth, and claimed they built them. Even the Taj Mahal is not a mausoleum for Shah Jahan’s wife as claimed, but is an ancient Hindu temple, probably for Mahadeva Shiva.

And look at the Hagi Sofia - it was a huge Christian church, now defaced into a mosque.

I sense neither of us will be on each others xmas card list. For the record - I’m not pro or anti Islam / Hindu /Christian other, although I’m happy to condemn specific acts or groups of extreme stupidity.
