Actually, it’s a little worse than that, I do believe.
If it is learned (and proven) that our troops serving overseas are operating under an illegitimate CIC, they lose the protection of the Geneva Conventions. IOW, they suddenly have the same status at AQ terrorists (not operating under the legitimate authority of a gov’t). So Obama’s little scam will actually put our troops in greater harm’s way, if exposed. (Unless the Joint Chiefs pull a “Nixon” with him and flies Obama via helicopter to Canada, to have a little resignation “talk” with him.) It’s been a long standing rumor that Nixon was not interested in resigning his office and he had to be flown to Canada for a few hours to be “convinced” of that option.
