Yes, you have. This posting of yours caught me by surprise because of that.
Just put in a very brief and simple way... that should be a indication to you that you're misunderstanding what I'm saying then... keeping in mind my context, my posting history and that I haven't deviated from the same thinking about Islam that I've had all along (and I never will either...).
It is very similar to saying: "I wish Hitler would kill MILLIONS of Jews, so that people could see how evil Nazism is!"
Now for the sake of illustration, I'll give you something here, in regards to what you just said (on this other subject matter) to illustrate what I'm saying is the difference between a "what is" -- and "what I wish for".... a problem that several people have trouble distinguishing here.
In regards to Hitler and his killing of six million Jews (a round figure...), that is history and thus, it is something we talk about "in the past"...
But, if one were to say that God allowed it and say that it also contributed to the formation of the nation of Israel, and that without it, it is doubtful that Israel would have been formed -- some might take that as "wishful thinking" in that I'm glad that Hitler killed six million Jews in order that we could see the formation of the state of Israel.
What I'm saying is that there is a situation in which one can say "these are the facts and that's the way it is" -- which can be entirely different from one's own "wishful thinking" in terms of what they actually want.
It's a fact that God allowed it (goes without saying, doesn't it...). And I would say that it's pretty well established thinking that it's because of this massive killing of the Jews that it formed the basis for the formation of the nation of Israel, once again (on many differnt levels of thought and human endeavor).
But, that's not wishing that Hitler would do it or glad that he did do it.
NOW..., going further with this idea of the six million Jews killed by Hitler, there is supposed to be another 12 million Jews killed in the coming Tribulation (about 2/3 of the world's existing Jews killed, coming up) -- by the coming Antichrist.
And, with this little tidbit of information, I've also seen some Evangelical Christian teachers and pastors accused of wishing it to happen. On the contrary, they are only speaking to "what is" -- from what the Bible says, although it hasn't happened yet. It's another one of those things that God is going to allow, once again.
There may be some who deny this to be the case, but that doesn't take away from the fact that there are many Evangelical Christians who see it as happening, according to what the Bible says.
Now, maybe someone will accuse them of wanting double the number of Jews killed in the world, more so than Hitler was able to accomplish. In fact, I've heard some "Jews" use this example (of some Evangelical Christian's understanding of this situation in the Bible) as proof (for them, obviously) of the fact that these Christians are anti-Jewish and really want to "kill off the Jews" and are only using the Bible as a disguise of what they wish.... LOL...
The same thing is going on -- in this thread -- of the difference between "what is" and "what one wants"...
And in light of what you wrote, you seem to think that maximum evil must be perpetrated before recovery from that evil can begin.
If I thought that, I would have continued with drugs until I died.
I decided to recognize that my bottom was low enough. Same with evil from terrorism; Nazism; et al. You don't need a maximum bottom before you recover. To wish for a maximum bottom -- especially for others -- makes it so people think you suck.
And that would be pretty f****d up, right there.
