I wish that the fight over amnesty hadn’t degenerated into Hispanic bashing on so many conservative sites and on much of talk radio. I am afraid that will come back to bite us; now we are going to have REAL amnesty, not the stuff Bush was proposing, and those people who get amnesty will mostly think the GOP hates Mexicans.

We can hope Brown wins Kennedy’s seat in MA on the 19th and returns the senate to 41 in the GOP camp..... of course we still have the two twister sisters from Maine who will vote with the dems 90% of the time, but it’s a shot across the bow nonetheless.
