What’s funny about it is I don’t consider her outly religious. Yes she does talk about her faith but she doesn’t do it all the time.
She is more schooled for being a leader than Obama is.
Remember the speech before her church liberals discovered during the campaign? They acted as if they found the blueprint for a Christian take-over of government.
But what she said was so American. She told her congregation her job was to see the cops had uniforms, the streets were paved and so on. "I can do all that," she said. The job of her audience, she said, was harder. They had to create a decent society.
It was so natural, I still don't think she was consciously referencing Franklin and other founders who said exactly the same thing.
