FWIW, Owatonna is a typical small town in the Midwest. It is inhabited (for the most part) by good people with solid values and a solid work ethic.
My wife’s family are from the farm country just south of there. As conservative as anyone but they are lock solid dems. They are addicted to farm subsidies. DFL
