I like Steyn, too, but when (he is mortal) Rush finally needs to be replaced, I rather hope The Rush Limbaugh Show outlives him with a rotation of his wonderful fill-in hosts, Steyn foremost among them, continuing in the present format. No one man could take Rush's place, but his fill-in hosts collectively could.

I had a similar idea... (my post seems to have disappeared) that The Rush Limbaugh Show needs to live on. Whether with rotating guest hosts or a panel of hosts, whatever. I don't think they'll go with some Brand New No Name talent. People would listen for a week just to hear, then search out the (current) time slot competition like Ingraham or Medved, etc. Bammo-show gone. Better to grab a known entity. Even if only a "smaller market" name. You can bet that the industry -- including El Rushbo himself has thought about this issue plenty!
