I had gotten the impression that his show was going to be scheduled at the same time as Rush's and/or was in syndication which would not permit him to sub. I may be way wrong on that though, because I see his Minneapolis show is in the evening and I have no clue about the syndication rules.
>> why cant jason lewis sub for Rush anymore? <<
Because he has his own show, every nite M-F 6-9 ET on XM/Sirius.
Mark Steyn
Achievements are of, and can be of nominal meaning, or nothing relative to intellect as in your perspective of “smarter”.
As I see by your response how you gauge “smart” people, and as you end your dissertation with the oft repeated Leftist signature “agree to disagree”, laughably as though that in itself is some sort of resolution, we’ll leave it where it dropped.
Ditto.
But Rush is going to be with us for a loooooong time.
Get well soon, Rush.
Rush is one of a kind, I doubt we will ever see another.
Just askin'.
Please stop! He is the godfather, and he will be OK. This is like asking who we would like our Mothers to remarry if ... unthinkable!!
14 per week?
LOL. Only 13,999,986 off!
Rush will bless us with his presence for many more years, God willing! El Rushbo is irreplaceable!
No, no, no—Mark can’t handle to hard stuff. I still remember him going apoplectic on the radio when a caller called him for endorsing Terri Shiavo’s death by slow dehydration and starvation—I sincerely thought he was going to have a stroke while I was listening!! :-\
*I’m* CHALLENGING! That is a very liberal thing to say, right out of their meme playbook! >:-(
Rush isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. But, when he needs a vacation, I very much prefer Mark Steyn or Dr. Walter Williams as fill-ins.
Rush has a quality that I cannot identify....but I know it’s there and I can’t find it in anybody else.
>>>a talk radio host must have an incomparable grasp of facts and current events. To say that this is one of Palin’s shortcomings would be charitable.<<<
Since I’m probably the only one posting who has actually sat down in a room and talked at length with Sarah Palin about the issues of the day (back in the mid-1990s), I have bad news, my friend. You are absolutely wrong. And that’s being charitable.
Sarah Palin is one of most savvy and intelligent people I’ve ever talked with. Whether or not that skill transfers to talk radio IS a point worth pondering. Please accept my own observations as a counterpoint to your opinion.
And Happy New Year.
Mark Steyn. No contest. He is hilarious.
TGO moves to noon eastern and Mark Steyn takes TGO’s slot.
Agreed.
N-S, we finally agree on something. You are exactly right.
Happy New Year!
Abrupt? How about Levin for abrupt?
