HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
I guess I read that to mean he would call in to let us know he was doing okay. If he’s resting comfortably there’s no reason to think he couldn’t call on the telephone. And frankly that would be the best way to reassure his fans he’s doing okay.

Getting my bearings now. Have there been many trolls on this thread? Since Obama’s first order of business was to go after Rush I would expect this to be a troll’s dream.

Yeah, mine too. I think the posting gave all of us a scare.
Once I checked the link and saw his “tweets” I was able to see that he was a troll looking to upset people who love Rush.
For starters, Dr. Chan would lose his medical license were he to allow photos of any corpse.

Drudge says his Chief of Staff says he’s resting comfortably. Even if it is heart trouble, so much of it is easily treatable nowadays. I’ve known so many folks with similar symptoms and they’re often in and out of the hospital in no time. I hope that’s the case for Rush as well, but I hope he takes care of himself a little better in the future.
I wouldn’t know how to either, but just getting his sorry-ass twitter account out there, so the 20 million Rush listeners can give him a piece of their mind, within the boundaries of the law.

Yes. It has been scary. As we found out Rush is resting comfortably, I think many of us have calmed down immeasurably. God bless Rush and guide him in recovery and God bless our great country and bring it once again to greatness!
Thank you for that post. My prayers for Rush. As had been said here hundreds of times ; This man is the most important man in AMerica right now. God Bless him and keep him safe.
..and at that I will close down now and go to bed. The best thing we can all do for Rush, is pray for him and get rest OURSELVES.. We have a battle ahead of us in 2010, and we need to be level headed, gear up ,and move forward!!!!!! Good Nite
