I doubt it.

The media would have just labeled it "an accident" or "mechanical problems," and no one would have known about the terrorist plot (if all on board had been killed).

Thanks to that brave guy who tackled the perpetrator, 300 people are still alive today, and we have hard EVIDENCE that it was a terrorist act (although the Obama administration is loathe to call it one).

No--because we would not have known the real cause of the disaster, or who was resposnible for it. It is the failure of the bomb to go off that is the disaster for Obama and Napolitano, and their responses to it aren't helping to mitigate it at all!
