Apparently Christians have no problem with the bodies of their wives and daughters being examined by complete and frequently vile stangers.

Folks on FR are "supposed" to be conservatives, yet it amazes me how many are willing and eager to give up basic human rights for a perceived quantum of security. Would they submit to the "Gestapo" just barging into their homes with no warrant or reason and search it from top to bottom because they "have nothing to hide" and want their neighborhood to be safe? Or just randomly, for no cause, stop them along a highway and search the car? That's what these body scanners are - they're unwarranted searches.

Amen, randita. It’s downright pitiful how many supposed conservatives are begging to give up your rights so they can feel safe.

People, if these terrorists go one step further, it means they’ll start either (1) stuffing explosives up their hindparts or (2) having them surgically implanted in their abdominal cavities.

As I said upthread, herding American citizens, who fit no profile, through these scanners does not increase security one iota.
