There was an article recently posted here about a very white-looking Hispanic kid in Englewood, NJ, getting beaten within an inch of his life (facial reconstructive surgery, may lose eyesight) by a bunch of black kids because a basketball got loose on the playground and hit a black girl. She got her posse to kick his butt after school for “dissing” her, presumably.
Of course, the news story didn’t report on the racial aspects of the story.
The comments on the originating news web sight were *extremely* eye-opening. Before it was all said and done, there were several hundred comments, and it was raw and ugly. People are just flat out tired of being lied to by omission and by this sort of behavior in general.
Of course, the comments were gone the next morning.
