That would have been the end of it. The media sycophants would have lauded his differing style from (what they presumed to be) Bush's style. Obama would have been hailed as a "great leader". Now, he just looks disinterested and unaffected equaling poor crisis-management on his part and creating an unforced error - very much like the Harvard PD fiasco over the summer.
