Can’t tell if it’s a “pistol” or an AK with no shoulder stock as there is no scale. The foregrip looks short, though. I know there are AR “pistols”, why not AK?

The Romanian "Draco" AK variant is indeed considered a pistol, under the law. It does have a shorter handguard and gas tube. One advantage to its legal classification is that it doesn't have to be imported as a parts kit and assembled on a US-made receiver. It arrives as a complete firearm.

I have one, but haven't been able to take it out and fire it, yet. It's pretty small, but will hold standard AK mags. I plan to get a drum magazine for mine because I like the look.
