>> Peter King on FTN points out that the system did NOT work.
Maybe it didn’t work so well because of the failures in Copenhagen?
Perhaps Clyburn would sing a different tune if he had been on that plane.
Gibbs saying we ought to give ourselves a New Year’s Resolution and not use this as a political football.
AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
SIL...heh, he looks at me and says...”What the hell is this nonsense about bringing up those guys from Gitmo? Why’s he gonna do this?”
#####
Next holiday get-together SIL will be telling you how he has “found” Rush! Get him a Gitmo tee shirt.
lone wolf here and a lone wolf there...might indicate a pack of wolves breeding somewhere...huh?
What everyone in the media seems to be missing is this bit of data. A majority of Americans still blame Bush, not Obama for the economy. Right now 41% blame Obama, 51% blame Bush. In the next 6 months, based on current trends, that number should flip. When that happens, Dear Reader's polling numbers should go thur the basement.
He is evolving, but too slow for me... he really needs to spend more time reading up on history (JMHO)...
OMG, you are right... I almost forgot that part.. he really did provide some good entertainment.
If you are a first class nuts and bolts Robert Novak style print journalist the confines of print seldom translate into good radio or tv. He was one of the few to make the trip and even then he wound up walking out of a CNN studio one day out of sheer frustration.
Liberals thought the Nazis were peachy keen until they turned on their beloved Soviet Union.
Has to they were hardly consulted and its all about them!!Go figure!!
I blame the media for the blame Bush numbers (well that and a stupid country)....... because we had a democratic majority in congress the last two years of his administration... Bush’s screw up was not using his veto pen and not explaining things properly to the public when he tried to do something to reign in Fannie and Freddie....
These guys get easier to figure out as they plod along.
I don’t see how any self-respecting journalist could work at CNN (or MSNBC).... I see Robert Bennett is on Fox more these days, did he quit CNN, too?
So you're saying that the White House has that "funny smell", LOL!
What system? Are we going to have an alert Dutch film maker stationed on every plane? Is that the system?
Back on last January, Howlin (on another site) told me that we were now on our own. THAT is the truth!
We ARE on our own in defending against terrorism.
And my husband is overseas now and will be flying home through Africa and Heathrow in the middle of January. I just e-mailed him about the new regulations and told him he is going to have to be alert; apparently that is "the system that works."
Bah!
It is a natural outgrowth of childhood. As a child you are dependent on someone for your needs. When you suddenly are forced out into the real adult world, the tendency is for the child to look for a "new parent". Most kids tend to look to Government as the "new parent." They eventually out grow that once they are forced to actually deal with the Government awhile.
