Actually in real life if nowhere near medical help you urinate on the burn. Reduces pain and puts a “skin” on it faster.
Apparently, if I remember correctly, urine is alkaline.
If you touch something hot with your fingers (without a real burn) grab your earlobe to quickly reduce pain.
