I watched CNN two hours ago because the other nets had canned programming. They had an interview with the guy who took down the terrorist. The CNN anchoress (Fredericka??) seemed so surprised that the terrorist was “calm” during all of this.
Then of course they compared his attack v. Richard Reid’s. It focused on explosives and how we really don’t need to worry about either situation because in both cases the explosives used were so “feeble”.
In the entire segment they never mentioned any Muslim connection here. Or motive. You got the distinct impression that the CNN bimbo had zero fear of people like this. That he was just a poor, misunderstood African guy who needs Dr. Phil to help him with whatever help he needs.
How dumb do these people have to be?
Understand that getting a Radio/TV degree from the J-school is kind of like buying a loaf of bread. It just costs more.
In fact, being dumb helps. You're unlikely to ask embarrassing questions of the professors.
