Or Giovanni Rutoli or Irving Goldstein or Raj Welankiwar or Wong Fung...

“Religion Of Peace” my white Christian Anglo-Saxon ass! I don’t see any Christians, Jews, Hindus or Buddhists trying to blow us up - on the most celebrated religious holiday in our country.

(apologies to any real folks with the names above)

This is ongoing Islamo-fascist terrorism on America, but the timing is an assault on Christianity.

But, Whoraldo wouldn’t have been able to say his name, or was that Shlep? Either way, birds of a feather.

Our immigration system is messed up because the Democrats designed the new immigration system which has been in place since 1965. Ted Kennedy was the leader of those 1965 immigration changes. Tell everybody you know that it was the Democrats who wanted this politically correct immigration. Whenever there is terorism in the news, make sure that you bring up the immigraiton connection and lay it at the feet of the Democrats where it belongs.

Terror on Northwest Flight 253: Bomb On Plane Linked to al-Qaeda

The White House is calling this an attempted terrorist attack.

The flight made an emergency landing in Detroit after 23-year old suspect, Nigerian national Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, attempted to detonate a device but failed. Initial reports were that a firecracker was set off, but as events unfolded reports shifted to characterizing it as an apparent act of terrorism — confirmed, we are now hearing, by Abdulmutallab himself, who says he was on a mission from Al Qaeda.

NBC, CBS and other news outlets report that Abdulmutallab was on a U.S. government watch list of people with suspected terrorist ties — but not a no-fly list.

According to CNN terrorism expert Peter Bergen, Abdulmutallab told authorities that he procured the materials used for the potential explosive device in Yemen. Yesterday, an airstrike by Yemeni forces targeting an al Qaeda hub killed 30; reports that radical cleric Anwar al-Aulaqi, linked to Ft. Hood shooter, army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan, was not among them. According to Bergen, Yemen is becoming a major hotbed for terrorist activity

Storing Bombs Inside Bodies

Security officials are concerned over a tactic newly employed by al Qaeda. Sheila MacVicar reports suicide bombers are now storing explosives inside their bodies in order to avoid detection.

“Remind me again, please. We need these people in our country why?”

We shouldn’t allow any Muslims in the USA: “Muslim-American” is an oxymoron.

BTW, we shouldn’t allow socialists, fascists, nazis, communists, or progressives in this country.

“Democrat-American” is an oxymoron as well.

Authorities identified the alleged attacker as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, a Nigerian student.

Things were a little more exciting aboard the plane, where Syed Jafri, a U.S. citizen who was flying from the United Arab Emirates, was seated three rows behind Abdulmutallab. As the plane began its descent into the Detroit airport, Jafri said, he saw a glow and noticed the smell of smoke.

Then, Jafri said, “a young man behind me jumped on him.”

“Next thing you know, there was a lot of panic,” he said.

A Nigerian man tried to light a powder aboard a commercial jetliner before it landed Friday in Detroit in what senior U.S. officials called an attempted act of terrorism.

Flight 253 with 278 passengers aboard was 20 minutes from the airport when it sounded like a firecracker had exploded, witnesses said. Passengers saw the attempted attack, and one of them jumped on the man and subdued him, an airline official told NBC News.

Federal officials identified the man as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, of Nigeria, who was traveling one way, without a return ticket. Dawn Griffith, who was waiting for her husband on the plane, said she saw the man being carted away on a gurney or bed, with his bandaged hands handcuffed to the railing.

The man was being treated at the burn unit of the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, officials said.

Rep. Peter King of New York, the senior Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, who was briefed on the incident, said Abdulmutallab was known in federal counterterrorism files and may have been on the government’s list of suspicious passengers banned from flying in the United States.

King said the incident raised troubling questions about airline security. “It must be looked into” how Abdulmutallab was able to sneak a “somewhat sophisticated device” on board, he said.

Abdulmutallab told investigators that he wanted to set off a bomb over the United States, counterterrorism officials said.

The suspect, identified as a Nigerian national, claimed to have extremist ties and said the explosive device “was acquired in Yemen along with instructions as to when it should be used,” said a federal security bulletin obtained by CNN.

The FBI is investigating, bureau spokeswoman Sandra Berchtold said.

The remains of the device used are being sent to an FBI explosives lab in Quantico, Virginia, for analysis, the sources said.

Rep. Pete King, R-New York and ranking Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, identified the suspect as Abdul Mudallad. CNN has not been able to confirm the name from law enforcement or government officials, and some media outlets have reported the name as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

President Obama, who is spending the holidays in his home state of Hawaii, was briefed on the incident during a secure phone call with aides, and instructed in a subsequent discussion with security advisers “that all appropriate measures be taken to increase security for air travel,” said White House spokesman Bill Burton. The president made no changes to his schedule, Burton said.

The suspect had been in a law enforcement intelligence database but was not on the government's no-fly list, a law enforcement official said.
