That’s easy enough: Manny Pacquiao has said he won’t allow blood to be drawn within a week before the bout. So naturally that’s what Floyd demanded, since he is desperate to avoid the fight.

When did Manny say that? If it was before the issue of the drug-testing was raised for this fight then that would lead me to believe PBF is ducking. However, if that reasoning came up after the issue was raised then I'm still suspicious, especially in light of Arum's eye-popping and bizarre quote of "I've got a Filipino fighter who is superstitious" as a reason Manny wouldn't agree to it.

It’s never been demanded for an professional boxing match before. Mayweather came up with this to duck the fight. He needed something, because he believes he would lose, and I believe he is correct.

Mayweather’s apparent objective is to tarnish Manny Pacquiao without fighting him, and it looks as though he is succeeding due to the legion of suspicious people willing to believe the worst about anyone.

Manny Pacquiao has never been suspected of using illegal substances by anyone, and he is quite right to sue. His reputation has been tarnished by slander, as the posts on this thread testify.

Mayweather`s looking for a way out.

If he does fight then he`d better have hand picked judges who`ll score him winning every round with his “ peck the jab,run away for the rest of the round” style.

Mayweather will have to BEAT Manny, not peck and run.

That’s what makes this fight so interesting. Manny is an amazing offensive fighter that hits from angles I’ve never seen and is quick and relentless. PBF on the other hand is one of the finest defensive fighters of our time (BHop is the other) who rarely gets hit and is quick enough to score in flurries. Which style prevails is what I hope to find out. Be warned however, the clash of these two styles, by the the best fighters going today, might not lead to the type of exciting bout we all
want to see. It might be like watching 2 Olympic caliber wrestlers going at it where the true greatness of what is going on is recognized by the people who truly understand the sport as opposed to the casual fan just tuninig in, to whom the action might seem “slow” or not the fireworks he’s been led to believe by the hype.

How about, lets draw more interest to this fight through controversy. Then, twice the number of people will order the product. The soap opera stuff is just BS, they know when they will fight.

If this fight doesn’t happen, there should be an asterisk behind Mayweather’s record. He wants to stick with fighting past-their-prime “names” like De La Hoya. I’m surprised Mayweather hasn’t tried to set up a fight with Marvelous Marvin Hagler.
