Being the target of rough criticism is an occupational hazard for public officials, especially those as high-profile as a U.S. congressman. Any politician who pursues legal action against critics, even critics who may not have followed the letter of the law, calls into question his commitment to the First Amendment's guarantee of free speech.
It's an odd and ironic response from Mr. Grayson, one of the most intemperate voices in Washington. This, after all, is the congressman who called a former lobbyist now advising the Federal Reserve "a K Street whore." Who said that former Vice President Dick Cheney should "STFU" -- an acronym for a vulgar phrase used in Internet banter starting with "shut the" and ending with "up." Who declared on the U.S. House floor that the Republican health plan was for Americans to "die quickly" if they get sick.
Mr. Grayson's overheated reaction to the Web site parody adds to his image as a polarizing, divisive figure in Congress, an institution that runs on coalitions. It detracts from his credibility as a serious representative of his Central Florida constituents.
With a year still to go in his first term, his act is wearing thin.

Dear Orlando Sentinel,
It's not an act. Grayson is crazier than a sh** house rat.

Well, his complaint refutes itself. He complains that the woman who created “MyCongressmanIsAnIdiot.com” or whatever it is, lives outside his district, so she isn’t one of his constituents, so he’s not “her” congressman, so he wants her imprisoned for 5 years! But, to take his complaint at face value, he isn’t even her congressman, so even if URL’s were to be treated as sworn testimony, he’s not the injured party, so where’s his standing to complain?

I can’t get the picture to post, so I’ll have to send a link.
Wasn’t Wexler also from Florida? What is it about guys who come off like second-rate gym teachers that voters there find so appealing?
This is actually an editorial critical of a Democrat in the Orlando Pravda?
Excuse me while I go faint.
... and the bastard is MY congressman!
Yeah, Wexler represented Boca Raton, but lived in Maryland.
This Grayson creep is mental.
He is also a coawrd.
At his town hall, he packed 95 of the 126 seats with Dem big wigs, ACORN members, etc.
He also brought his three kids. When the questioning got tough, he just ended the meeting, saying it was past their bed time.

That is true, but I think some of it he brings on himself. He is a freshman Congressman and acts like he has been in the Congress for 20 years. He needs to shut up and learn about the senate before trying to be a leader.
senate = Congress...sorry wrong word.
If I were the publisher of the Orlando Sentinel, i would be very careful. Lord Grayson just might decide to have the United States Justus Dept. come after them. I would just bet they could find SOMETHING prosecutable.
Grayson is an MSNBC favorite, and he seems dangerously insane. I’d like to know why so many Florida RAT congressmen are Jewish lawyers from New York.
Apparently, New York already filled their quota. I wish more nice Jewish boys had taken their mothers' advice and become doctors or architects. Of course, I was a nice Jewish boy and I didn't take my mother's advice, either.
Grayson, on the other hand, is not so nice. He has a mean streak and a truly narrow mind.
Simply chage the name tu “thiscongreemanisnuts” or is yhat already taken? Hah!

Mine is Steny Hoyer, so don't look for any sympathy from me.
