Katie what average Americans are angry about is liberal elitists like you who want to run every aspect of our lives because you think we are too dumb to make the “right” choices. Note, average Americans are smart enough to switch channels when you deliver your drivel that passes for news.
You are absolutely right on target. People like Couric have a hard time dealing with people who don't play along and accept people like her, politicians, and other celebrities as greater than the rest of us. They have an even harder time dealing with people who think that individuals like her and her ilk are actually less insightful and knowing than the average person. Ultimately, it's about ego.
