New Jersey was neck and neck in the polls until polling day itself.
If they couldn’t see that it was close, what can they see then?

I am yet to see any elections, where the Republican candidate was solidly ahead in the Rasmussen polls and the Democrats solidly behind, where the Republican turned round and lost the elections.
If you know of any, please let us know will ya?

Best example I can think of is Bill Clinton in 1993 vs "Republican challenger". We had that won until we picked Bob Dull. Same thing may happen again with the current Republican leadership.
