No. She's got a huge image problem and some very unfortunate baggage (i.e., she quit as governor). She has been, and can very easily continue to be painted as "unserious" in the same way Dan Quayle was.

And continued exposure to her folksy mannerisms is, quite frankly, tooth-grindingly irritating.

Outside her true believers, Sarah Palin doesn't really have the makings of a successful presidential candidate.

So, you prefer an Ivy League intellectual who spouts off $25 words over a woman who speaks just like the rest of us average main street Americans.

Yeah, that's bring real success in 2012.

What a load of rubbish!
Now why don't you show me ANY poll, which had Dan Quayle running neck and neck with the sitting president at th time, like Sarah Palin is currently running neck and neck with 0bama in the polls?
While you are about it, perhaps you will show me even one example of thousands of people, lining up in town after town, in sub-zero temperatures, all night, just to see Dan Quayle and have him sign his book.
Why do you insist on pushing this loony left garbage on his site?

I'll bet you sip your tea with your little pinky up in the air, don't you. I think her down-to-earth demeanor is just what this country needs to bring it back to reality. The tea partyers were real people-not tea sipping a—hole pseudo intellectuals who are not in touch with the average American and actually look down upon them. Look how the tea party candidate compares in polls against the Democrat and Republican candidates.

Let's stop carrying that libRAT mantra. She quit to save the state the unseen millions in legal fees from the no-end-in-sight frivolous lawsuits...and to be free to voice her opinions and follow her path, unshackled by political office.

But if you're stuck on the 'quit' button = why was it alright for the freshman senator from Illinois to not serve out his term? Or any other politician likewise.

Her 'quitting' is a mute point...except as a punching bag for the libRats. Why play along with them?

how "elitist" of you. How's the air up there?

I think most of us apprecitate a 'real' person as apposed to the majority of politicians = the overwhelming percentage of which are lawyers who are first taught the cornerstone of the legal profession: Lie, obsfucate, cheat, dirty deal, - all with no "you betchas" =

I'll take a real person - who would be a true REPRESENTATIVE of We the REAL people.

Kinda like another 'real people' we had - a non lawyer, plain speak guy/
