It’s delusional to believe that Palin doesn’t face a strong headwind. The fact of the matter is while she’s incredibly popular with the base, especially social conservatives, she does have a “Dan Quayle” problem with the general electorate.
And your evidence of this “Dan Quayle” problem is what exactly? Book sales, Oprah ratings, Facebook supporters? 50/50 approval among Independents?
