Too late for that. This was THE vote. Subsequent votes to pass and for conference only require a bare majority. They can of course scrape that up.

Unless of course not enough Dems show up to make a majority. Not that I'd know anything about that.

I understand that the filibuster of a conference report requires 60 votes, unless it is a budget bill or if reconciliation procedure is used.

I have seen much conflicting opinion on this on FR over the past two hours.

Does any one have an answer to this Civics 101 question?
