What I know about Massachusetts would fit in a thimble - but aren’t Republicans about 10% of the legislative seats there? The probability of a GOP Senator in a special election, with nothing else on the ballot would seem impossible.
There are more independents registered than either Dems or GOP in MA.
I expect that Brown would get shellacked no matter what, but the fact that the election is merely a special election for only this race would seem to benefit Brown: it means you can expect the most mobilized voters, who are certainly opposed to the Obama deathcare bill. Even the unions don’t like it.
GOOD—We must call every GOP person in the state to get Brown into office. I don’t know him but anything that disrupts the Liberal front is good for Conservatives at this point in time.
