I’ve read through this thread and strongly feel that this suggestion makes a lot of sense.

There are many of us that can’t pick up and go to D.C. to protest but certainly can do it at the local level.

IronJack wrote: “There will be opportunities in the near future for free citizens to demonstrate that they WILL NOT COMPLY with the tyrannies being legislated by this corrupt and unholy administration.”

We can start in our own communities....

That is precisely the idea. If you've got conservative contacts in your community, get together with them. It doesn't have to be formal; you don't have to rent a beer hall. Meet for pizza at a local pub and talk it over. Have them start spreading the word -- judiciously -- that you're organizing to resist the communist takeover and you're looking for others who feel the same way.

Once you get enough participants, start figuring out what actions you'll take when the system finally breaks down. And what action you'll take to demonstrate your fidelity to the principles that made this nation, in defiance of laws that defile them.

Be prepared. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets any better. Know your friends. And keep your back to the wall.
