The Bushes were gentlemanly dealing with Democrats, whom they desperately wanted to say something nice about them. But when it comes to other Republicans, real conservatives, they could be brutal.
very true...I would say 100 is a little on the low side.
Probably not. The people who will object to these taxes are already voting against Democrats.
If they aren’t voted out the next time they’re up for re-election, they need to be physically dragged out. Either way, they have to be gone. And for their sake, they had better be voted out.
People in ND have been hibernating politically for years. They will never wake up.
As GWB once asked, “How would I know it is unconstitutional until the Supreme Court speaks?”
I’d like to keep my posting privileges, so you know what I’d like to say, to express my feelings.
AS I recall, Senator Olympia Snowe (”R”-Maine) turned traitor and voted to authorize the bill’s continuance previously. “Oh, we’re just saying that the debate can begin, not actually voting for it.” It could have been stopped two weeks ago. Even if Snowe votes against it now, the damage has been done for all time.
Love that 0bama Pimp pic.
Using his greatest natural skill that he learned on the streets of Chicago selling Coke...
Only differences from then to now is that he’s just peddling a new drug, the Nanny State Utopia.
The GREATEST hallucinogen of ALL TIME!!
You need to zoom out and look at the bigger picture. We have been screwed for a long time by all the Republicans who abandoned conservative principles. Just because they have wised up this week and not voted for the healthcare monstrosity doesn’t mean that they get a pass for all their past votes.
Thank God he isn’t. We need him for the 2nd term.

You know, in a way this has all been very clarifying. We need to be tougher and smarter than we have been. This can be reversed.
