And without Palin, McCain would have gone down in flames...for the sixth time.
I'd say that he owes her a political debt for giving him more than a 0.5 percent chance of maintaining the slightest shred of "relevancy."
I'd say those two debts cancel each other out.
Because you and I are conservatives. Plain is a potential Presidential nominee. I think Palin proved she will support conservatives in primaries up in NY23 and in some other races. However, there will be GOP incumbents she may support that may not pass our litmus test for consrvatism. That is the way you build a national organization.
Either support libertarian conservatives, or get lost.
you dont kick people to the ground that gave you national prominence.
You also don't sell your soul to political devils.
McCain enjoys busting balz of conservatives, he cut put Obama in office in retribution for Palin backstabbing him politically.
He already did.
"I have to tell you, [Obama] is a decent person, a person that you
do not have to be scared [of] as president of the United States."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 10 OCT. 2008
"I think the Democratic Party is a fine party, and I have
no problems with it, in their views and their philosophy."
U.S. SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, 02 APR. 2004
"I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent
and will do everything I can to support his reelection."
FMR. GOV. SARAH PALIN, 16 DEC. 2009
I wonder how much of that will fit in a tagline?
Just enough to get me thrown off FR. LOL
