She couldn't have just bought a new visor?
No one has even talked about what is on her shirt, which I think deserves its own thread. It said something to the effect of “If you don’t love it here in America get the hell out” I gotta get me a shirt like that
I agree.
A) This (one incident) makes Gov. Palin look low-rent. Just buy something new, don't marker over what you have!
B) I don't want a repeat of 2004, when President Bush supported Snarlin' Arlen over good conservative Pat Toomey.
Gov. Palin is still leading the pack, but she has to be careful, as it is a long way to the primaries....
That would have been a much, much better idea. Woulda saved all this media created palaver. I mean she knew the paparazzi were camped out all over the joint, looking for the slightest out of whack thing to create a controversy.
Some here say that she came out too strongly in support of McCain?
Maybe. But why did she come out so strongly supporting McCain?
Well first it is consistent, and there is that gratitude and loyalty.
But that doesn’t explain the “strong” support, right?
The reason is she is in a war to the death with the Republican Establishment!! This is obvious to me, in her actions, what she says, and in the press (direct and indirect).
Palin cannot afford to lose the support of all the political class. We may not like it, but she has to have some of that support, and some moderate candidates will be part of party.
Why do you think the press keep goading McCain to diss her? It is important for the MSM and some republicans, as it will erode support for her in the Republican Party.
At this stage she needs McCain as much as he needs her.
Maybe she wanted to trigger the response she knew she would get from the media just to give herself the opportunity to slam them back down with her strong statement of support for Mr. McCain. The media lies. And once again Sarah gets to draw our attention to that fact.
