“Looks like some very vocal 1.7%’rs ranting about something they are very misguided about...politics. I respect Third Party principles. But the truth is that you are out of the equation. If we get a non conservative GOP nominee, I’ll simply vote conservative down ticket and ignore the Pres. race.”

Methinks you might just be on the wrong thread. This one is about Palin, and her support of a SUPER RINO.

“Politically supporting the person who catapulted you onto the stage is not a disqualifier for being conservative.”

Yes it is if that person is an absolute traitor to the conservative Republican cause. It also shows a distinct lack of character when one is not able to stand up to a tough predicament like this. Do you think Reagan would back McCain? Under any circumstances? If you do, you are ignorant.

“Listen if you are so inclined, by all means, go vote 3rd Party.”

Again, wrong thread. Nobody here is advocating a third party. Most of us are FOR JD Hayworth, who will be damaged if Sarah goes public with an endorsement of McCain.

Spot on as always!

The fact is, John McCain is the epitome of the term ‘RINO’, he’s been on that Washington gravy train for way too long, he is pro-amnesty and pro-open borders, which I highly doubt that his constituents are in favor of (you would know more about that, being in Arizona), McCain effectively threw the election to 0bama, pissing down our neck and telling us it’s just rainwater, all the while babbling that crap about us not needing to “fear an 0bama Administration”.

Now J.D. Hayworth is by far the best shot conservatives have at throwing McCain out and putting a REAL Republican in that seat, and that is why we already see the McCainiacs throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Hayworth and he hasn’t even announced yet! That spells fear on the part of McCain, and it should.

Now the best thing Sarah Palin can do in this instance is to just issue a statement in which she declines to endorse ANY candidate in Arizona’s Senatorial race, she can say some kind words about her political benefactor, but if she endorses McCain over a tried and proven conservative like Hayworth, she is demonstrating that her conservatism is a conservatism of convenience, and that will NEVER get her to the White House.

Ask Bob Dole, in his doomed ‘96 run for the presidency, he famously (or infamously as some might say) said “You want Reagan? I can be Reagan” but anyone with a room temperature IQ knew that Dole was NOT Reagan, and never could be.

Ditto for Sarah Palin. Contrary to Michael Reagan’s admiring words, she is NOT the second coming of the Gipper.

You thinks wrong. If you can’t understand that McCain gave Palin her national stage, there’s not much reality being observed.

“It also shows a distinct lack of character when one is not able to stand up to a tough predicament like this. “

LOL, Sarah Palin has withstood a myriad of attacks from both the Left and Establishment GOP. She has stood tall and unwaivering through it all.

Palin’s character is certainly not in question. At least not by anybody with any sense.

“Nobody here is advocating a third party. Most of us are FOR JD Hayworth, who will be damaged if Sarah goes public with an endorsement of McCain.”

To the contrary, some are calling the Republican Party worthless and traitorous. That sentiment in conjunction with attacks on the only visible conservative Republican with a chance in the hunt for the GOP nomination, pretty much leaves the option of a fringe Third Party waste of time.

As far as Hayworth is concerned I hope he beats RINO McCain. But, he had to know the political calculus of Palin supporting McCain and perhaps an endorsement. He chose her to be the Vice Presidential nominee.

That’s politics. Besides, Hayworth should be able to defeat McCain on his own accord.
