To: Lakeshark
Sometimes it's clearly better to vote for muddled rather than something that approaches evil. I think that happens more in our world than not and we have to deal with it. I would prefer that not be true, in my ideal world it wouldn't be true.

But why does that only ever apply to the right? I'm not saying you're wrong necessarily, but something is obviously badly broken when we have to compromise to avoid disaster and they don't.

Because the left is generally between the polls of ignorant and evil, leaning towards the latter more every day.
