They dont have to dis them by name(being party leadership realities) , but they must call our their failed policies so we know what they are talking about.

I want to hear a conservative Republican candidate for President go on the record and state that it is NOT the role of the federal government to dictate to the States HOW to educate our children, and that if elected they WILL defund and dismantle the federal Department of Education, and put those bureaucrats on notice that they better start sending out their resumes' in search of new jobs, if that candidate wins the Presidency, and doing away with the Dept of Education will be just the first step in reducing the size of the federal behemoth.

I want to hear that conservative Republican pledge to do away with the concept of unelected and unaccountable 'czars' that are appointed, and to remind the American people that THEY ARE NOT **SERFS** and they do not live in Russia! and they do not NEED 'CZARS'!!

And that conservative Republican needs to clearly state that they intend to uphold ALL immigration laws as they exist RIGHT NOW, which translates to "are you in America illegally? You are subjected to being deported immediately and you will be BANNED from ever re-entering the United States, so GET OUT NOW!".

As for the War on Terror, and the Islamofascist threat to the world? Here is all that conservative Republican needs to say, "America is going to WIN, and the SOBs who want to destroy us are going to DIE, each and every last one of them! THAT is what you DO to your enemies!"

Nice wish list, mkjessup. I, too, would be very interested in a candidate who actually said those things.

However, I sincerely doubt that anyone (and I'm really liking DeMint the more I see and hear him) already in politics is going to come out and say any of those things.

IMHO, Politics is all about power, and the things you mention would in various ways, erode some of the power currently held.

But, we can certainly hope.
