Palin supports McCain '100 percent' [Palin pushes back at TMZ 'disprespect' meme]
Politico ^ | Dec. 16, 2009 | Mike Allen

Posted on 12/16/2009 4:38:39 PM PST by Al B.

Declaring that she “was honored and proud to run with him,” former Alaska governor Sarah Palin pushed back hard Wednesday against a report that she had disrespected Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) by blacking out his name on a sun visor she wore on vacation.

The website TMZ accused Palin of “a frontal attack on Sen. John McCain” during a Hawaii vacation this week: “Sarah chose to wear a visor from her campaign -- a visor that was emblazoned with the former presidential candidate's name ... that is, until Palin redacted McCain's name with a black marker.”

But Palin said in a statement to POLITICO that she was just trying to “be incognito” -- to go unrecognized and shield her children and husband, Todd, from paparazzi.

The hotel where she was staying had to chase away five photographers, a friend said.

Palin said in the statement to POLITICO: “I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way. I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito."

The Palins were taking a break from a three-and-a-half-week book tour for her million-copy-selling memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life.” Palin has signed more than 59,000 books -- an average of 1,750 per stop -- and has traveled more than 19,000 miles by plane and bus. She has spent 115 hours -- or 4.8 days -- signing books in 33 cities in 25 states. Her stops have included five military bases.

As far as I am concerned, she isn't Reagan in a skirt; she's McCain in a skirt.

Then, by all means, vote for Romney...

Fair or not, she has to be exceptionally careful. As does her family. That is a big downside in her relationship with the media, and as republican political star.”

Pretty much.
The paparazzi are going to continue stalking her and her family wherever she goes.
Why?
Because any pics they take of her or her family members(controversial or otherwise), means big bucks for the paparazi scum that took the pics.
I am sure she has made that clear to her kids, especially her teenage daughter, to be very careful about who they assocaite with, and how they behave.

You just proved you don’t read her editorials and articles.
She is not for amnesty and does not support illegals.
You can repeat your lie on everyother post but it doesn’t make it the truth.

Lies? LOL.

It's on the record and you know it.

As posted by TADSLOS on 22 Oct. 2008, straight from Univision's Web site:

"There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that's not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration."

"No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty."

JR supports Sarah. Tell it to him

If Jim Robinson wants to support Sarah Palin, that is his own right.

However, I can not in good conscience support her, for three reasons: one, her deeply questionable interview with Univision last fall; two, her PAC's contributions to McCain's primary and general election accounts, especially since McCain's 2010 campaign donated $142,950 to The Tarrence Group (see post #28), which conducted a recent push poll on behalf of a GOP organization linked to McCain supporters in which McCain attempted to smear J.D. Hayworth, even though he is not even a declared candidate in the Arizona 2010 Senate GOP primary at this time; and three, this article, in which she is on the record as supporting McCain's re-election "100 percent."

Now, as FR is Jim Robinson's private property, if he wants to suspend my account because I am daring to ask valid questions, then he is obviously within his right to do so, and I will respect such a decision on his part.

As for whom I am inclined to support in 2012, it's going to be someone like DeMint or McClintock, someone whom both conservatives and small-l libertarians (like the folks whom I've gotten to know in the RLC) agree upon.

As for McCain, according to a few Arizona Freepers of good repute, Hayworth will likely enter the race, so we will find ourselves on opposite sides.

If you want to join Palin in supporting the Rat bastard McCain--the guy who said we had nothing to fear from Obama, the guy who said in 2004 that he had no problem with the Democrat Party or its values and principles, the guy who brought you McCain-Feingold/McCain-Kennedy/McCain-Lieberman, and the guy who trained Graham of Graham-Schumer/Graham-Lieberman-Kerry fame--then you are welcome to do so.

But I am not going to join you.

I know. I’m not really angry with her, but disgusted to see slime like McCain benefiting from her principles and frustrated to see the American public potentially suffering from them. I call him slime for his voting record and for the way he allowed his staff to treat her.

the same Ron Paul who just voted against the sanctions
against Ahmadinejad and who was the only congressman who did not vote to condemn Ahmadinejad.

And who said that Sarah was going to run on a third party ticket?  LOL. I have consistently believed that Sarah will never leave the GOP but rather work to reform it from within to make it more reliably conservative. Having said that, I find it hard to believe that she will campaign for McCain.

I think she was caught off guard and was on the spot to say something nice.

The last email I got from Sarah Palin says this...
Excerpt:

"After all our travels, it's even more obvious to me that the winds of change are blowing strong. At every stop people talked about the need to take our country back. So let's do it! 2010 is just around the corner and with it will come one of the most critical elections of our lifetime. With important House and Senate races across our nation and dozens of gubernatorial races we have the chance to make a positive difference throughout our country.

"I am going to help campaign across our great nation and I'd like your help to do it. If you are able to contribute I will use the SarahPAC donations you place in my trust to support candidates who share our core values, and I’ll work on issues that can put America back on the right path. With your help, we can bring real change to America!"

So, in all honesty, I don't see how she would campaign for McCain.

I know, it sucks but what can ya do. He know she is a classy person, and he will benefit from that. Sarah is always a person of her word. Her parents taught her to respect people, she knows that McCain gave her an opportunity not many people are fortunate enough to get. I think its more of a shame that the damn media can’t leave her alone on her VACATION with her children on the beach. She can’t get a moments peace. If it wasn’t the hat it would be something else. I’m shocked the lib media isn’t making a fuss about what it said on her T-shirt, about kicking out people who don’t love America. Oh well, they will probably make a fuss about that tomorrow

Did you not just post the following to Rabscuttle?

“You just proved you don’t read her editorials and articles.
She is not for amnesty and does not support illegals.
You can repeat your lie on everyother post but it doesn’t make it the truth.”

You called him a liar, and he quite correctly called you on it. Do you have what I asked for, or don’t you? When you call somebody a liar, you better well be able to prove it!

Rabs, ol' buddy, you're way off base here, especially in citing that long disowned Univision interview in which she was trying to follow McCain's script.

She just told Rush that she's all for getting the borders under control and getting the illegal aliens out.

Everybody at FR who follows the Palin threads knows this, including you, so why go down this road?

Isn’t it interesting how these Romney and Huckabee lovers never show up when Sarah slams Obama and his Administration, but when she comes out supporting McCain(Which DUH, who didn’t see that coming, oh gee, supporting the guy who was her running mate, what a shock) they come out in groves. Really disgusting but not a surprise. Of course they don’t read her op ed pieces or anything else she posts. They don’t like her, its that simple. She is AGAINST illegals getting amnesty, she said it on some radio show last week, twice! She said that they should be kicked out. But of course people who don’t want to hear the truth will just ignore it

the same Ron Paul who just voted against the sanctions

And you support...

McCain, who voted for the bailout and openly lambasted conservatives for opposing it.

McCain, who said that we have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency.

McCain, who in 2004 said that the Democrat Party is "a fine party" and that he has no problem with it.

McCain, who pushed the original cap-and-tax.

McCain, who pushed the original shamnesty and even now is quietly working behind the scenes to help his lap dog Graham try again with Schumer.

McCain, who pushed campaign finance "reform" that curtailed the First Amendment guarantees of free speech.

McCain, who contemplated switching to the Democrat Party in 2004.

McCain, who took bribes and kickbacks as part of the Keating Five scandal during the S&L crisis in the 1980s.

McCain, who was part of the Gang of 14.

McCain, who has openly admitted that he wants to "negotiate" with Obama, as if negotiating with Communists is actually a fruitful endeavor (or maybe he knows something from his Vietnam POW days about negotiating with Communists that he doesn't want to tell the American public).

McCain, who worked with John F'in Kerry to shut down the search for Vietnam POWs and MIAs as part of the normalization process with Vietnam in the 1990s.

Shall I continue?
