That is the crux of it, isn’t it?
The rejection of the idea that humans can be made into Gods.
I fear that this will be the basis of the “lie” or “great delusion” that will fall across the entire world in end times.
I believe that has always been the central idea dividing Left from Right. We believe that human beings are imperfect by their nature, because they were created as beings of volitional consciousness: we choose to see what we see; hear what we hear; feel what we feel. Objective reality exists external to our own devices. Those on the Left, either directly or implicitly believe that reality is simply a human construct. Our organizing principle is the right of the individual to life, liberty and property; theirs is the right of the group to define what limits pertain to all.
