There was also another book published in that time frame which, though not related to any “Climate Change” nonsense, was about what would happen to New York if Bubonic plague broke out in the city and Manhattan was turned into quarantine zone. Naturally the villans in that novel were the military (who were scheming to blame Cuba) and the CIA. Ah the good ole days!
