Recall, if you will, that the Christ was born a Jew, lived as a Jew and died a Jew. The “Last Supper” was a Seder meal and Jesus never rejected the Torah or the Laws given to Moses. Jesus was always referred to as “Rabbi”, or “teacher”.
The importance of the Old Testament should never be questioned.

Of course He didn't! But He came to 'fulfill' the Law and that was His purpose in coming. Man was giving dominion over the earth (Genesis) - and God is faithful to His Word. Since 'man' was given dominion over it all on earth and 'man' gave away to satan, only a 'man' could redeem it. Since sin entered the world, only a sinless man could redeem it - and Jesus came as man for that reason.
The importance of the Old Testament should never be questioned.
Did you think I was? The Word of God is never in question - it will never change, it's the only Truth there is. May God's Word be true and every man a liar.

Yes, He was. And before He left, He said He is going to send another, The Holy Spirit, who, also, is referred to as the comforter and 'teacher'.
Paul came to Derbe and Lystra, where a follower named Timothy lived. Timothy's mother was Jewish and a believer.
