Thanks for posting that. I never knew why the lds would not sing what is considered an “essential” christian hymn. Now I know.

you are welcome. I was surprised the first time I looked in an LDS hymnal and saw “Amazing Grace” wasn’t there. Should have been my first cue to get out of there.
They have also changed the lyrics to several “traditional Christian” hymns. Someday I am going to go thru the LDS hymnal and some of my Christian hymnals and log the differences.
