Well, a good start would be not calling people who believe in creation or ID, *creatards* or *IDiots*.

Nor would posting derogatory pictures about Christ and making comments about zombies. (zot worthy behavior)

Calling them *Christian Taliban* also tends to bring out the lightning bolts.

Creationists, of necessity, have pretty think skins, as do Christians, but there is a limit to what is appropriate.

You could go by *Do unto others*. Think about whether you would you want to say to them, said to you by them.

That would keep you pretty safe, I imagine.

I don't know how thick a skin I have, but for what someone says about me to have an effect, I first have to have respect for that person's opinion.
