Really? What if one of your little group posted that? Would you say the same thing? Or would you encourage them in their study of the Bible?
GolfingRam:
You took 10 months off of work to study the Bible? Hey if you’re independently wealthy, more power to you. I’ve been attending Bible Study for a few years, once a week at night, and half the time I can’t make it because real life interferes.

If they posted it as a way of saying “I know more than you do”, then yeah I would say the same thing.
And I would encourage them as well. Also, I would encorage people, wealthy or not, to make Bible study a priority, regarless of “real life” commitments.
There are also some very good online and distance learning classes from Moody Bible Institute that can be done at home on your own schedule. Check them out.
I do very well, thank you very much. Weekly Bible studies don’t do as they’re basically social gatherings with a smattering of Biblical discussion from people that have only read parts of the Bible and usually don’t have the context needed.
