When they are out of power, the Republicans are very different from Democrats.

When they gain power the line gets a whole lot fuzzier.

Besides, conservatives do not need to support the Republican party to support Republicans,

I’m not a 3rd paty advocate. I’m a shocked, stunned, demoralized Republican.

Amen brother. You can add angry to that as well, very angry.

Conservatives need to support conservative Republicans. Conservative and populist third parties are proxies for the Marxists and the Dims. Unless you actually think that a conservative third party could immediately complete with the big two in a couple of years (or really right now!), well then, I’ve got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn.
If you want to support a third party, might I suggest Nader and the Greens. At least they could weaken the Dims during the elections.

Then fix the Republican party.

My concern is that the Republican party has already been "fixed", as in gelded, by political correctness, identity politics, and insiders feathering their own nests. There is a serious disconnect between local Republican politics and the national level of the Republican Party/RNC, et al.

That's what I said.

Who Says There’s No Difference Between Democrats and Republicans

There are differences but the results are the same, which is what should be expected when the two major American political parties have corrupted members.

The basic differences remain, Republicans want a government with limited powers as directed by the Constitution, and the Democrats want a government with powers forbidden by the Constitution. The Republican wants to borrow and spend and the Democrats want to tax and spend. Obama is the exception because he wants to do both, to the extreme.

However, when you add it all up the Democrat and Republican parties are merely the two cheeks of the same ass.

This is serious now. I know Republicans are “Repubics” in many cases. What we have here is a disagreement over strategy not philosophy. Remember WW2 when Churchill said that he would gladly enlist the devil as an ally to defeat Hitler. In fact he did. He became an ally of Joe Stalin to defeat the Nazis and I’m glad he did.
The Marxists are at the threshold of passing a government takeover of health-care. 0bama’s EPA has declared CO2 to be a poison gas to kill US manufacturing and make our energy costs “necessarily skyrocket”. Unions will soon be unleashed on employers. Taxes will go up.
The stakes are too high to pontificate on the merits of a third party. We must stop the Marxists NOW or we have only one party.
If you think that Dems=Reps (2 cheeks of the same ass right?), you would necessarily conclude that all is lost and it would be time to leave. I don’t, not yet. As long as we can stay united, we can win this.

You are that because you believe the liberal media lies.

Since you are so demoralized by R's what do you think of Democrats? The Democrats have a filibuster proof Senate which the Republicans never had and so Democrats/Marxists can push bills through the Senate while the Republicans couldn't. The Democrats are destroying America . And all of you who withheld contributions to the GOP,stayed home on voting days, are as responsible for this as liberals/Marxists are.

Democrat Senators are all voting for this socialist government healthcare bill which will have 111 new government bureaucracies.
No Republican Senator has voted for this bill.

Just one government Agency, the EPA , just crippled U.S. industry even further to solve a problem that Marxists invented and that doesn't exist, global warming.
Your electric bill will go up. Everything will go up. What's left of U.S. manufacturing will be gone.

Many more socialist, country-destroying DEMOCRAT bills like this to come, the fairness doctrine (gets rid of talk radio), Net Neutrality (censors the Internet), cap and trade ( kills capitalism) , Amnesty for illegals and their families in the 3rd world( gives the democrats 100 million new voters not that they need them since so many so called conservatives are “demoralized” by Republicans and so stay home as the liberal media wanted.

I gave signficant money to McCain-Palin. I did it out of emotion, to make myself feel better, not because I thought they had a chance. McCain was pathetic. He didn't really want to win, and you could see it all the way through the campaign. He expected to be handed the nomination because it was "his turn," and that's what happened.

The other front-runners, Huckabee and whats-his-name from Massachusettes, were no better.

I get a couple of fundraising pieces a month now, for my trouble.

I wasn't talking about support for an individual. Yes there are a few liberal lunatics who for political expediency call themselves a Republican. Obsessing about a RINO like this , generalizing his behavior to the whole GOP, will not allow you to concentrate on stopping the real threat , the democrats/Marxists.The democrats are the threat to your country , your way of life, your ability to make a living. I was talking about general support for the GOP as the Republican Party is the only tool we have to stop the Marxists/Democrats' destruction and takeover of America.
So everyone that values their income and freedom should support the Republican party as much as they can.

I see you didn't answer what you you think of the Democrats? Is is because you are a Democrat?

Republicans are “Repubics”

You begin by saying This is serious now followed by Republicans are “Repubics”. How can one be expected to take you seriously?

I have not concluded that all is lost. I have concluded that we need a new "ass" and I have no inclination to leave. To echo another position I agree with; America, right or wrong, when right to be kept right and when wrong to be made right.

Please read the quote again “This is serious now. I know Republicans are “Repubics” IN MANY CASES.” The “in many cases” qualification is certainly correct. For example, Lyndsey Graham would typically be considered a “Repubic” while his SC colleague DeMint is a good conservative Republican.

Although we may may have some differences, we must stay united against the Marxists. We must find more DeMints in the primaries. We must act at the county level with the Republicans. We must take over the Republicans party (and I think we are) just as the George Soros liberals have taken over the Dems. We cannot support a third party candidate during the 2012 election because this will re-elect 0bama. This is serious because the stakes could never be higher.

You obviously watched none of the hearings. The Republicans repeatedly claimed government healthcare was unconstitutional. At least try to know what you’re talking about.

Sure, that's why they're in the Senate trying to put in their own amendments and never mentioning the Constitution on the talk shows.

Why don't you try and show a little class?

Thanks for proving your brain is devoid of content. The Republicans are attempting to slow the process down long enough for momentum to grow against the bill and the Democrats. They are forcing votes on abortion, immigration and all the other loathsome ingredients in the bill so campaigns can be used against the 'Rats in '10.

Use someone else's brain if yours keeps breaking down.
