The Bible is absolutely relevant. Genesis is just not a historical document.

Do you think really think Methuselah lived nine hundred and sixty-nine years?

Genesis is just not a historical document.

Egypt never existed? The cities on the plain, Sodom and Gommorah, which archaeologists have found ruins for never existed?

Abraham, Issac, and Jacob never existed?

Ur of the Chaldeans never existed?

None of those things are historical or accurate?

You've just relegated the most important aspects of Jewish history to the dustbin.

“The Bible is absolutely relevant. Genesis is just not a historical document.”

Then just exactly what is it? Do you doubt it’s veracity? You seem to have alot of issues with it...such as your next question:

“Do you think really think Methuselah lived nine hundred and sixty-nine years?”

Methuselah’s geneology is well documented in the Old Testament...why is is so hard to believe someone could live to be that age?
