Surely you haven't gotten from these threads that the message is that "it" can be fixed with a tea party??

No Syc, that is not what I get from this.

What I get is something that has been going on for a while but since 2004 It has gone critical mass. There is a faction in the political continuum working on the conservative side that has blissfully attacked the republican party for all sorts of reasons. This faction is often of two or even three mind sets but they have a common goal to purge the party and on a smaller scale this forum of any and all who disagree with them.

The problem with this, as in 2008 is that you lose elections. It happened when Bob Dole ran and the religious right stayed home, and it happened just a few months ago when these angry factions refused to vote for McCain. (I held my nose)

So here we are again and again launching attacks within the party to rid us of the so called RINO for the 2010 midterms. I guess you don't get the humor in this because it is not the RINO that is the problem. It's the voter! It has always been the voter.

Anyway, have a nice day. I have things to do and I'm going to log out for what may well be a extended period of time. I tried to fix this crap one time before from 2004-2008 and it was a huge waste of time. I failed and all my warnings came true. I wish I had been wrong.

I can't fix this and observers like myself are no longer posting here so I have no backup. I will leave all of you to stew in your own juices.

Just think before you act. Where do RINO's come from and how and why do they get elected.

When you figure it all out, send a shout my way and I might come back and cheer you on.........or not. Depends how I feel about it all.

See Ya.....Gotta go.

Nope. We lose elections when there are those that hang on to believing that you can pick up a t*rd by the clean end.

By the time they’re done there will be a couple dozen of them staring at each other from the rubble pile.

No Syc [Syc, cute], that is not what I get from this.

Oh, well that is what you implied quite pointedly.

I thought you were saying what you meant.

There is a faction...that has blissfully attacked the republican party for all sorts of reasons. This faction is often of two or even three mind sets but they have a common goal to purge the party and on a smaller scale this forum of any and all who disagree with them.

That's your spin, but the reality is a little different.

The GOP should monitor itself and be true to it's platform. As it hasn't done that, people have risen up and called them on their movement to the left

Same with FR, people get called out if they don't espouse the conservative values that FR stands for.

Standing up for what they believe.

Call it what you want, but it's something deep inside people that brings them to the point where they have had enough and see that the GOP isn't serving their conservatives values anymore.

It isn't simple "disagreeing" that is the problem. Nothing wrong with that.

The problem with this, as in 2008 is that you lose elections. It happened when Bob Dole ran and the religious right stayed home, and it happened just a few months ago when these angry factions refused to vote for McCain. (I held my nose)
Who's turn will it be next, Newt Gingrich?

Put up the next guy in line (Dole) and he lost.

It's the voters fault? Or the GOP for not caring if they win as long as their next-in-line runs.

There you go again with the "angry factions" talk.

Voters don't want to vote for left leaning Republicans, so they are rebelling. About time.

Millions voted for McCain because of Palin, it still didn't get him elected.

Instead of blaming it on the voters, maybe the GOP should pay attention to what they want.

Perhaps if McCain hadn't of marginalized Palin and her conservativeness it could have been different.

It was obvious at the end that he didn't care to win.

And then he praised Obama!

So here we are again and again launching attacks within the party to rid us of the so called RINO for the 2010 midterms. I guess you don't get the humor in this because it is not the RINO that is the problem. It's the voter! It has always been the voter.
Oh my, the voter again! And "so called" RINOs.

Ok, fine.

But if the GOP can't figure out what the voters will vote for, sorry it's THEIR fault!

Yea, sorry I don't get your "syc" humor.

I have things to do and I'm going to log out for what may well be a extended period of time. I tried to fix this crap one time before from 2004-2008 and it was a huge waste of time. I failed and all my warnings came true.
LOL! Well, you are just one person. Take that much needed rest, and come back after the 2010 elections.

We'll watch after things for ya. Don't waste your time.

I can't fix this and observers like myself are no longer posting here so I have no backup. I will leave all of you to stew in your own juices.
Oh, I imagine you can find your "observer backups" at the old familiar places on the www.

Stew out there, not here. We ain't stewing, we're BBQ'n!

Just think before you act. Where do RINO's come from and how and why do they get elected.
Yes Sir! We've got a handle on that, thanks.
When you figure it all out, send a shout my way and I might come back and cheer you on.........or not. Depends how I feel about it all.
Naw. We've figured it out. Thanks anyway for the cheering offer, but your pom pom's are pointed in the wrong direction.
