A bit off. LBJ didn’t dither like Obozo. He thought he could reason with the marxists and sent them “messages”. I don’t think obozo has a clue. The jihadists are harder to deal with, because they willingly die to kill infidels. Most marxists at least tried to survive the battles.

LBJ thought that he could reason with them, and he put enough trust in Bob McNamara--a theory-based character that was likened to a human computer--to screw things up.
