TEHRAN, Iran — Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Iran will enrich its uranium to a higher level in direct contravention to an international call to halt the process.
Ahmadinejad expressed frustration with negotiations over a U.N.-backed deal to swap Iran's low-enriched uranium for higher-enriched fuel rods to power its medical research reactor.
He told a crowd of thousands Wednesday in the southern city of Isfahan that Iran "will produce 20 percent" enriched uranium and "anything it needs" for its nuclear program.

The logic that if banging one's head against a brick wall for 5 minutes doesn't fix the headache issue, somehow banging against the wall for ANOTHER 5 minutes will miraculously do the trick is ludicrous! How do such morons actually continue to survive when their mental capacity is so lacking? I swear that at least half of the people on the earth would perish if breathing and heartbeats were not involuntary actions which required no mental concentration to perform...
The thing that gets me is - if they don’t think he’s doing it for nefarious purposes, then why all the “international calls” to stop?

There’s absolutely no reason the Iranian regime should do anything the “International Community” say. If there are sanctions, they’ll just make secret deals with the French, Germans, Russians, Chinese, etc. like Saddam did. If Israel attacks, they’ll be able to play that to their advantage in several ways. The only threat they have is from their country and 0 will do his best to minimize that threat.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should just come out and state the obvious, “we are determined to have a stock pile of nuclear weapons so that we can bully our neighbors, obdurated Israel, so that the Maddi will rise from the well, making Islam the world’s only religion, bringing a Taliban utopia to the world”. And the strangest thing is that Western Governments will still do NOTHING to stop him.
