Wpin.....don't pay any attention to sick.

He depends on Wikipedia for his information on what happened in Iraq. (i.e. he is ignorant).

My son worked directly with the Iraqi people all throughout 2008, and you are right. The idea that the Iraqi people preferred being under Saddam to liberation and self-governance is absurd. The idea that they were "better off" being butchered and tortured by their government is not even in the realm of the rational.

Our troops under George W. Bush liberated millions, and the ME and the world (especially the United States) are far safer because of their courage in defending our freedom and security.

It was FNC I was watching as hell broke lose after Cheney announced terrorism was ended in Iraq. Saddam was a no nice guy but Bush brought them suicide bombers in mosques and markets from 2005-2007. As I said, he finally fixed it, but left Afghanistan a mess in the process.

By liberating you mean voting anti-american?

Reagan is still loved by the ex-East block countries for freedom, but Bush is hated almost everywhere.

“My son worked directly with the Iraqi people all throughout 2008”

I saw the pictures of your son you posted on your profile page, he looks like a great young man! You must be very proud.

I agree that there are a lot of people who are ignorant about what President Bush has accomplished. He will go down in history as being a very very good President. Lincoln was not very popular during his tenure and immediately following. Bush will have the same thing for a while, but professional historians, and we the people will make certain that the leftists do not cloud his memory with their lies and distortions.

I feel a real sea change in our society. The left has reared it’s ugliness once again upon our blessed land. People are seeing and remembering why we threw them out of power before, young people are learning why the philosophy of the left is so damaging and corrupt. These are all good things.

BTW, I love your drawings also...very talented.

Our troops under George W. Bush liberated millions

So basically, Bush bought the "freedom" of millions of non-Americans at the expense of the freedom of millions of present and future Americans whose future tax dollars are now spoken for as a result, and he did it without their consent.

If that isn't anti-American, anti-freedom, and straight out irresponsible, I don't know what is.

The purpose of the United States armed services is to provide for a common defense of United States territory, property, and lawful residents, PERIOD.

You--and those like you--however, are welcome to engage in any other purposes on your own dime. If the freedom of foreign nationals means so much to you, you are free to spend your own time and funds on such a goal, however, you are not free to force (and that is what Government does, by the way) others' funds to be allocated towards such purposes.
